About

Our Mission

Increasing public awareness of the Sacramento District Attorney's power and holding the Office of the DA accountable.

Sacramento County, like the rest of California and the U.S. is in the midst of an incarceration crisis. The solutions implemented to remedy this crisis should center healing survivors, preventing harm through healing those who cause harm, and restoring communities impacted by economic despair and organized abandonment.

Instead, the system sustains and grows risk--perpetuating the rotating door of poverty and crime, tearing apart families, shattering neighborhoods, exacerbating racism and racial injustice, widening the gap of haves and have nots, and costing the county tens of millions of dollars annually--

with absolutely no evidence of sustained, improved public safety.

No single person in the criminal-legal system has as much power to bring this crisis to an end and change outcomes as the elected position of the

District Attorney.

Our Goals

Engage the community to vote, and provide relevant candidate information to help voters understand the DA's responsibility, authority and accountability in decision making.
